Challenge

A Tier 1 automotive supplier in Stuttgart needed consistent, high-purity copper cathode and silver grain for EV wiring systems but faced supply volatility from African sources. Previous shipments lacked ISO-aligned assay reports, traceability, or moisture control, triggering quality holds at their production line.

Solution

AFRICA GOLD sourced 75 metric tons of copper cathode (99.99% Cu) and 1.2 metric tons of silver grain (99.95% Ag) from a licensed North West Province mine. We coordinated SGS pre-shipment inspection, sealed materials in moisture-controlled packaging, and provided full documentation aligned with EU REACH and automotive supply chain standards. The cargo shipped via Durban to Hamburg—and arrived at the plant within 24 days, zero rejections.
