Challenge

A UAE-based refinery needed consistent, ethically sourced gold from South Sudan but faced delays due to unclear origin documentation, inconsistent grading, and lack of on-ground verification. Traditional brokers couldn’t provide chain-of-custody proof or timely shipment coordination.

Solution

AFRICA GOLD deployed its Juba-based CM MINING team to partner directly with a licensed cooperative. We conducted joint weighing, sealed samples for SGS assaying, secured export permits through South Sudan’s Ministry of Mining, and managed air freight logistics with full UAE customs pre-clearance. The first 15kg shipment cleared Dubai in 9 days with full traceability from mine to refinery.
